Terms of service

Plain and short. Read before buying if you want to be sure.

Effective date: 22 August 2026. Applies to every purchase placed through webtemps.download.

1. The operator

WebTemps is a one-operator sole trader shop based in Australia. By placing an order you accept these terms as the agreement between you and the owner of WebTemps for that order.

2. The service

WebTemps sells HTML and CSS website templates at a flat $5 per template. The catalog holds 1997 ready-made HTML5 layouts across 43 niche categories. You pick a quantity (or paste a specific SKU) on the pricing page, I curate the files, and the download is emailed to you after payment.

3. Price and quantity

Every template costs five United States Dollars. The total for an order is strictly the quantity multiplied by five. One template is $5, five are $25, ten are $50, a hundred are $500. There is no bulk discount, no tier, no promotional override. Orders larger than the preset buttons or needing a particular mix of categories are quoted by email and still priced at $5 per file.

4. Payment

Card payments are routed through Creem (Armitage Labs OU, Estonia). Creem acts as merchant of record for the transaction, which means Creem collects the money in its own name, issues the receipt, and handles any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies in your country. Your purchasing contract for the payment itself is therefore with Creem; the contract for the template, its content and its support is with me. Creem's Buyer Terms at creem.io/buyer-terms apply alongside this document. All amounts show in USD and your bank performs the local-currency conversion at its own rate.

5. Delivery

After the payment clears, a personalised link to your zip file is sent to the email you entered on the Creem checkout. Delivery usually happens inside a minute. The link remains valid for 24 hours and may be used up to three times. If it expires or exhausts inside the first 30 days from the original purchase, reply to the delivery email and I will reissue it at no cost.

6. Licence to use the files

Every template I deliver is provided under a commercial-use licence. Under that licence you may:

  • Modify the HTML, CSS, JavaScript and assets however you like.
  • Deploy the resulting site on any host for any paying or non-paying project.
  • Build client sites on top of a template and bill the client without extra fees to me.
  • Keep a copy for reuse on future unrelated projects.

7. Things you cannot do

You may not:

  • Repackage the raw templates and sell them as part of a competing template library or marketplace listing.
  • Sub-license the templates to third parties as standalone products.
  • Claim original authorship of the underlying template designs.
  • Use the files to build sites that distribute malware, run phishing scams, host sexual content involving minors, or infringe someone else's intellectual property.

Shipping a finished bespoke website or app built on top of a template to your own client is explicitly fine.

8. Refunds

I offer a 14-day refund guarantee covered in detail on the refund page. Short version: email inside 14 days and the amount goes back to the paying card within five business days.

9. Support

Support is strictly by email at [email protected]. There is no phone number, live chat window or ticketing dashboard. Response is typically same business day during Australian hours, and never more than one business day except on public holidays.

10. Warranty and liability

Templates are supplied "as is" for standard web use. I cannot guarantee that a particular template will fit every edge case you have in mind, which is why the 14-day refund exists. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian consumer law, my total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. I accept no liability for indirect losses such as lost revenue, lost data or business interruption caused by use of the files.

11. Intellectual property

The template designs in the catalog originate from a curated library of licensed HTML5 themes. Where a third-party licence attaches to an individual template, that licence is honoured and passed through to you with the delivered files. The WebTemps name, mark and site content remain my intellectual property.

12. Changes

I may revise these terms over time. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes that affect active orders will be communicated by email to the address of record where feasible. Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect counts as acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising from the agreement is subject to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

14. Privacy

Data handling is covered on the privacy page.

15. Reaching me

Any question about these terms before or after buying: [email protected].
